Class A Motor homes are the largest classes of Motor homes, ranging between 26 to 45 feet long with a max width of about 8 feet, but some have slide outs that can extend the living space up to 12 feet. They are made to sleep 4 to 6 people comfortably. Diesel engines, sometimes known as pushers, are quieter because the engine is at the rear. But gas rigs are usually are known to be more affordable to maintain and operate.
Note in some locations, a special licence may be required to drive a Class A Motor Home, due to it’s size.
Class A Motor Homes, are the most expensive, the largest and as mentioned before the most luxurious. A downside is that due to their size they can’t be driven on small, steep or tight roads.
